Best Wishes to the Class of 2012!
Last night, 264 seniors participated in Commencement Exercises at Parkside Church. The ceremony was comprised of a performance by members of the Senior Chorus, comments by Superintendent Dr. Robert Lee, Principal Jeremy McDevitt and Senior Class Speakers Madeleine (Mads) O'Brien and Hannah Sellers as well as the Senior Video produced by Alexandra Pressman.
The Class of 2012 has distinguished themselves throughout their careers at Kenston.
Here are some final stats.
94% will attend a 2 or 4 year college/university/specialty school
- 40 students graduated with a 4.0 GPA or above -
- 115 students graduated with a 3.5 GPA or above -
- 59 students graduated with Honors -
- 104 students earned Honors Diplomas -

 This year, Newsweek's ranking highlighted the best 1,000 public high schools in the nation - the ones that have proven to be most effective in turning out college-ready grads.

US News and World Report recognizes Kenston
 Kenston was awarded a Silver Medal from U.S. News in their annual rating of schools. They analyzed 21,776 public high schools in 49 states and the District of Columbia, looking at state proficiency test scores, performance of least-advantaged students (black, Hispanic and low-income) and college readiness. |
