Sponsor an impoverished Guatemalan student and give them hope for a brighter future!
  
Although students do not start school until January 2012...it is time to register now so that they can be assured of a place in school. Please renew your student sponsorship as soon as possible or if you have never sponsored a child ...please consider doing so now. If you would like to sponsor a child for the first time in 2012, please click here to read some bios of students needing sponsorship or send an email to oficina@mayanfamilies.org There are many children eager to go to school, and they are waiting for your help. Sponsorship today will determine whether this child and many more go to school or spend their days working in the fields. We strive to use your sponsorship donation to give the students what they need to be successful in their studies. Although we have worked hard not to raise the sponsorship fees, as the cost of adequate educational expenses have increased, we recognize we cannot do justice to the needs of the students without a small increase. The sponsorship fees for 2012 are as follows:
PreK - 6th grade $190 ($15.83/mo)
7th - 9th grades $390 ($32.50/mo)
10th - 12th grades $490 ($40.83/mo)
University $1250 ($104.17/mo)
(Partial sponsorship is an option for University Students)
We also offer monthly sponsorship payments. It is a convenient, secure and easy way to support your sponsored student. Please e-mail Elizabeth at elizabeth@mayanfamilies.org or Dwight at dwight@mayanfamilies.org or you can call 619-550-2608 Monday through Friday and ask to speak to Elizabeth or Dwight. We will be happy to assist you to get this set up.

We appreciate your continued faithfulness to the value of education in Guatemala and to this generation of children! Most of them will be the first in their family to be able to read, write, graduate and pursue their dreams!
