The San Antonio Afternoon program provides a good meal to 50+ children, aged 6-10, who come 5 days a week after school. San Antonio was badly affected by the horrific mud slides of last year, and many of the children in the program were traumatized by the loss of their homes, possessions, or even their family members. Their bodies need the hot lunches, vitamin tablets, and healthy snacks that the program provides, but they also need the other types of support that we provide: homework help from a qualified teacher, games, puzzles, and a few hours of relaxation and stability.  

The high level of need in this community has caused the program's numbers to expand, leaving it in dire need of funding. These $10 donations will make all the difference in allowing us to continue serving these great kids.
