Chairman's Corner

  Christine Chandler

With the doubling of the solar market in the United States in 2011, this is an exciting time for TXSES. As the new Chair of the Texas Solar Energy Society I look forward to serving our members and chapters and working to fulfill our mission to increase awareness of the potential of solar and other renewable energy solutions. Now is a opportune time to educate the public and to dispel the many misconceptions about solar.

This year we welcome four new board members - Rusty Speed ( Vice-Chair), Jessica Galloway (Treasurer), Chris Boyer, and Tyra Rankin. Our departing members, Fred Yebra, Ti Mougne, and Leslie Lyle, were superb additions to our team and we will miss their guidance and wisdom. We are so grateful for all our dedicated board members who donate countless hours to ensure TXSES' success.  Read more
