Welcome to the Pets on Wheels of Connecticut e-newsletter! This month we wish to thank all who participated in our first annual Strut Your Mutt dog walk-a-thon event! We were extremely happy with the large turnout of both human animal participants and with the amount of money raised! Please be sure to view our website event page for photos.

Pets on Wheels of CT will have booth at the Glastonbury Apple Harvest Festival held on October 16th and 17th at Riverfront Park. Don't miss the fun! Please be sure to bring your friends and visit our booth.

First Annual Strut Your Mutt a success!
Picking his prize! | Our first annual Strut-Your-Mutt dog walk-a-thon was held at Wickham Park on September 26, 2010. Close to 200 human and canine participants walked the scenic route, participated in contests for wonderful prizes, and received a variety of gifts from generous sponsors including Pet Supplies Plus, TD Bank North, Phil Klein - Dog Listener, Mark Sheptoff Financial Planning and Whispering Touch LLC and The Cosmic Cat. We'd like to thank all who participated in making this a success! See you next year!

Did you know that you can direct donations to Pets on Wheels of Connecticut through your company's local United Way Campaign? Since Pets on Wheels of CT is a qualified nonprofit organization recognized as a 501(c)(3) by the Internal Revenue Service, you can write in our name and Tax ID number (26-1395973) have your giving designed directly to Pets on Wheels of CT.
When signing up, simply check the "other" box and write in the name "Pets on Wheels of Connecticut", plus the Tax ID# 26-1395973.
