Pets on Wheels of ConnecticutMay 2010
Greetings!

Welcome to Pets on Wheels of CT's first e-newsletter!  We have many exciting things to share with you so we have created a monthly electronic newsletter as a way to keep you informed and up-to-date on the organization.

As you know, part of Pets on Wheel's mission is to make a difference one pet and one person at a time. So we are excited to share with you that for Dharma the cat and one family, we have done just that. Please read below how we were able to help this family and give Dharma a loving home.

We are also working with a woman who lives alone, is not well and has wanted her own dog and had given up all hope as the rescue shelter fee was beyond her means.  She is presently looking for a dog and we will keep you posted on this!

Happy stories like Dharma's are not possible without support from people like you. Please click on the forward to a friend button on the side bar and share this newsletter with your friends and family.  Please encourage them to sign up and to support Pets on Wheels.

Thank you for your continued support.

Sincerely,

Elaine Papanic

Meet Dharma, our first placement

DharmaDharma, is a 17 month old orange tabby that was living at a rescue shelter until Pets on Wheels came along.  We were able to match this handsome fellow with a family that absolutely adores him.

Pets on Wheels had the pleasure of accompanying  Dharma and his new mom for his medical checkup.  Although, he was not too impressed with the Veternarian (do we know a cat that is?) he received a clean bill of health.

Both Dharma and his new family have adjusted nicely and are quite happy with their new arrangement.
