We proudly present our annual edition of the graduating seniors.  Congrats

 to both the graduates and their parents.  Job well done!

annual Byrnwcyk Community Association meeting this Saturday, 10am at the pool. 

Election of officers, updates on proposed renovation and discussion of annexation or incorporation of a city of Brookhaven.

Clare Williams
Clare Williams graduated from Marist Clare is graduating from Marist School where she has been a Varsity cheerleader and manager of the Varsity Baseball team for 3 years.  Clare played several years of soccer and basketball before concentrating on cheerleading.  This summer, Clare is working at a Young Life Camp in Colorado.  She plans to attend Texas Christian University in Ft. Worth, where her sister will be a senior.  Clare plans to major in nursing
Will Heaton
Will Heaton graduated from Woodward 

Will is graduating from Woodward Academy Magna Cum Laude.  Will is President of the Student Body, Captain of the Football Team, recipient of "Best Offensive Linemen" Award and "Highest Academic Achievement Award" for the football team.  Will is also an AP Scholar, a member of the Honor Council and  a Peer Leader. Will is attending the University of Georgia in the Fall.

 

Stephen Strang
Steven Strang going to Ga Tech 

Stephen is graduating from Riverwood International Charter High School as an AP scholar. He played 3 years Varsity Lacrosse and 2 years Cross Country. Piano has been his passion for 13 years and he has been awarded 3 monetary scholarships for winning various competitions. Currently he provides lessons to children ages 5 and up in their homes. He will be attending Georgia Institute of Technology in the Engineering Department in the fall.

 

Emily Nail
Emily Nail plans to go to Georgia State 

Emily went to Wesleyan High School for 3 years where she played softball, managed the wrestling team, managed the football team, participated in mock trial, was active in the Trinity House ministry and participated in several mission trips locally and abroad. She then transferred to Rabun Gap - Nacoochee School for her senior year. She has excelled in her Art III course, refining her artistic talent and has managed the baseball team. Emily will be going to Georgia State University, with an interest in archaeology. 

Erin Tate
Erin Tate heads to Davidson. 

Erin is graduating after fourteen years at The Galloway School.  During high school she has been involved in student government, dance ensemble, choir, volleyball and musical theatre.  She will be attending Davidson College.


Sarah Bonaparte
Sarah Bonaparte heads to Belmont University 

Sarah is graduating from Marist School.She will attend Belmont University, Nashville, TN.  She plans to major in Biology and study in a pre-med or some other pre-health program, as she is currently interested in the fields of pediatrics or oncology.  She has studied piano for 14 years.  She was a member of National Charity League (NCL) for 7 years, where she served in various positions for her class of 2011, including Secretary and Vice President of Programs,  She also received the NCL Hour Glass Award for 100 hours of service above the required number of service hours.


Jack Hudgins
Jack Hudgins heads to Auburn University

Jack is graduating  from St. Pius X Catholic High School,where he transferred from Marist after sophomore year. Jack plans to attend Auburn University, fulfilling a lifelong dream as the Hudgins family has a long tradition of attending Auburn. Jack loves history, and may major in it.  He is interested in sports:   college football, professional baseball or football, anything with a ball.   He received a scholarship for academic performance.

Jessica Senft
Jessica Senft heads to U of Fla
Jessica is graduating from The Weber School where she played varsity volleyball, basketball and soccer and received MVP in all three sports. She was a member of the National Honor Society and a peer leader, as well as was featured in the Northside Neighbor as Student Athlete of the Week. Jessica will attend The University of Florida in the fall.
Giuliana Mazzetta
Guilian Mazzetta heads to McGill University Giuliana is graduating from the Atlanta International School and she plans on attending Mcgill University next year in Montreal, Canada. She is receiving her International Baccalaureate diploma following the two year program. During high school she participated in Model United Nations, International Students Against Landmines, tennis, sailing, theatre, and enjoyed the visual arts. This summer she plans on taking a trip throughout Europe with her two best friends.
