High Renewal Rate for 2011 Show |  Renewal Contracts were sent electronically mid-May and we have had a very high renewal rate for the 2011 show. Allocation for exhibitors requesting additional space and changes will begin in early August. Reminder new this year cheques are to be made payable to Canadian Boat Shows Inc and together with the signed contract are to be mailed to our office:

CBSI Appointed New Show Management for VIBS |  The BC Marine Trades Association (BCMTA) has announced the appointment of Canadian Boat Shows Inc as the new show management for the Vancouver International Boat Show (VIBS) effective for the 2011 show - February 9 - 13, 2011 at the Vancouver Convention Centre.
The management of VIBS will be led by Linda Waddell and key staff who have organized the Vancouver show for the past seven years. The expertise and professionalism that guided the organization of VIBS in the past will continue without interruption.

Buy A Boat & Win $10,000 |  
Julie Wilson of Barrie, Ontario along with her mom, Judy Wilson, was presented a cheque for $10,000 towards the purchase of her Bennington 2010 20SL9 with a Yamaha engine. Brad Conlin of Hastings Marine was pleased to be the dealer!
Julie entered the Buy A Boat & Win promotion, sponsored by Skippers' Plan, Robertson & Robertson Yacht Insurance and the Toronto Boat Show, her name was selected from all of the entries that were gathered over the course of the show. Congratulations. |

Grand Prize Giveaway |
 Lucky Winner - Ian Watson!
The 2010 Grand Prize winner was presented with the prize package valued at over $26,000 - Princecraft Sport 164, powered by a Mercury 75 ELPT EFT four-stroke outboard engine with a custom-painted bunk-style trailer.
The presentation took place at Buckeye Marine in Bobcaygeon. The winner Ian Watson was congratulated by Cynthia Hare, show manager, Jay Poole of Buckeye Marine and Annabel Magennis of AM Promotions. |
