Spice Event on Saturday, September 22nd, from 10am-3pm . We will have samples and recipes for you to enjoy. If you can't make it on the 22nd, please remember that anytime we are open you can always drop off your spice jars for a refill and pick them up at your convenience.

Kenya Peaberry Coffee
Our latest "visiting coffee" is: Kenya Peaberry.
We often get asked "what is a peaberry?" The answer is that it is really a fluke of nature. The cherry (coffee bean) doesn't fully develop and it doesn't split, which results in a much more intense flavor. About 5% of harvested beans are peaberry beans. Stop by and try some of this full flavored roast!

Cops That Cook The Lakewood Police Department's Pancake Breakfast  Step Up for Down Syndrome Walk Sunday, September 23, 2012, 9am, City Park Denver  West Metro Family Fire Muster Colorado's largest special fire protection district, West Metro Fire, hands over its fire trucks, hoses, and bunker gear to children and their parents for a day of larger-than-life excitement and learning at the Family Fire Muster. Saturday, September 29, 2012, 10 a.m. - 2 p.m.West Metro Fire Rescue's Training Center  Rocky Mountain Ransom The Kidnapping: On Wednesday, September 12, 2012, St. Anthony Health Foundation and Flight For Life Colorado are conspiring to "kidnap" some of Colorado's elite executives and celebrities. Each will be flown by Flight For Life helicopter to a secret, remote Rocky Mountain location. Armed with only a cell phone and their charm, they will be stranded upon a Colorado mountaintop. The Rescue: Once the Ransom is raised, Flight For Life Colorado will fly to their rescue, to transport them off the mountain, just as they do on each of the hundreds of missions Flight For Life completes every year.
