For the Scandinavian in you!
For a unique after dinner coffee, try this! Long a tradition in Lutheran church gatherings of Scandinavian-Americans in the Midwest, egg coffee is a light, clear brew with absolutely no bitterness or acidity.

A new way to poach eggs
We love this new way to poach our morning eggs (poached eggs are a staple at the Curtis house!). Add some corned beef hash and coffee from the Village Roaster and start your day out right!
The Poach Pod is a flexible silicone cooking tool for poaching eggs, baking and molding - floats in water during cooking.

Would you like to save $$?
Of course you would! At the Village Roaster, we know coffee and we know coffee makers.
To add YEARS to your drip coffeemaker, we recommend: Fill the coffeemaker reservoir directly from the faucet or use a clean water pitcher to fill it - in other words, use a fresh water source.
Why? because your coffee carafe will, over time, build up a film of oils and sediments that you don't want to reuse. We do this at home and have had our home coffeemaker for over 10 years, while friends with the same coffeemaker have had to replace theirs 3 times.
