Grinders:  beyond coffee beans!krups

Using a mortar and pestle to grind spice sounds romantic, but it's often an exercise in frustration.  The best spice utensil you can own is a coffee grinder/spice mill.  It will efficiently grind up everything from cumin seeds to star anise, whether lightly toasted or raw.

How do you clean it?  simply whiz up some day-old bread cubes or some rice krispie cereal - they soak up any oils and flavors left behind.
Lakewood Cultural Centermy fair lady
Colorado Christian University is excited to produce My Fair Lady this spring. Based on George Bernard Shaw's lively satire, Pygmalion, My Fair Lady is filled with well loved songs such as "I Could Have Danced All Night", "I've Grown Accustomed to Her Face" and Doolittle's irrepressible "Get Me to the Church on Time." My Fair Lady has been delighting audiences on both sides of the Atlantic for over 50 years. You'll love it too-you probably already do!

As a reminder, we have a coffee cart at the
Lakewood Cultural Center, open daily from 8am-4pm.  We are also there for most performances!
