Coffee Economics
 Recently, the cost of coffee has been on the news and we want to give you some background on this issue. Based on a number of reasons, including - a two year decline in the coffee crop yield, coffee consumption increase in many countries (at 10% consumption, China now drinks more coffee than the US!), and the value of our dollar declining, coffee prices are rising.
At Village Roaster, we are doing everything we can to ensure that you continue to get a great cup of coffee at a reasonable price. For the past 30 years, we've aligned ourselves with reputable brokers who sell quality products and we buy six months out. We do what we do because we love it and continue to appreciate all of you, our valued customers!
