Kahlua Recipe

Do you enjoy giving homemade gifts for the holidays?  if so, we've got a wonderful idea for you:  make your own Kahlua!  This is a tried and true recipe that we love.  Note:  start now, as it needs to age for one month.

Kahlua Recipe
1 cup sugar
1/4 cup water
2 1/4 cups double strength coffee (we recommend Scandinavian Blend)
1 1/2 cups vodka or brandy
1 vanilla bean (we recommend Tahitian vanilla bean)
