Important Medicare Information |
What is Medicare? Who does it cover? When do you qualify?
In 1965 Congress amended Social Security to include Medicare. It is a health insurance program for people age 65 and older, or for people that have been receiving social security disability benefits for over two years. Medicare is a Federal health program that provides coverage to people 65 years or older, people of all ages with certain disabilities, and people of all ages with End Stage Renal Disease. There are four parts to Medicare. They are Medicare Part A, Part B, Part C, and Part D.
Medicare Part A is free to you as long as you qualify for Social Security .This basic coverage will cover you to be in the hospital for up to 60 days. Home health care services can be provided for a specified period. Hospice Care has a full scope of pain relief and support services available to the terminally ill.
Medicare Part B does cost a monthly fee for out of the hospital coverage. Coverage is for physician's services, medical and surgical services. Laboratory services are also covered for your blood tests, biopsies, urinalysis etc. This service will also cover kidney dialysis treatments. Part B does not cover the cost of prescription drugs, routine physical exams or dental services.
Medicare Part C is the Medicare Advantage Plans. It is offered by private insurance companies and combines hospital (Part A) and outpatient services (Part B) into one package for those enrolled in parts A and B. Part C can also include prescription drug coverage. Some plans include it and other offer it as an add-on.
Medicare Part D is prescription drug coverage. It is voluntary and does require additional premium. Part D is offered by private insurance companies that contract with the Federal government.
If you would like more information regarding your Medicare options and benefits, please give us a call and we would be happy to assist you. It is very important to be informed on what you have or what you may need for your future health needs.

Hail Damage |
Last October there was a vicious hail storm. Many homes and vehicles across the valley were damaged . Since October, AnCap has received many phones calls inquiring about making a home or auto claim due to the storm. In most cases our answer was to call a roofing company and have a professional look at it. The Insurance industry is referring to this claim as a Catastrophic (CAT) loss. There is a limitation on the time period available to call in a claim. The time limitation is different with every company.
Please know that you are responsible for your deductible if you choose to file a claim. If you are unsure if your roof has damage, you can call a roofing company and ask for someone to come and check it for you. Be sure to call a local roofing contractor and check them out at the Registrar of Contractors website. When you are ready, then call the office and discuss your claim with us.

Featured Customer: Kathy & Joe Cammiso |
Joe and Kathy Cammiso first learned of AnCap Insurance years ago through a cold-call sales offer to quote their insurance. The big savings enticed them to "try out" the agency. Once they discovered it was a family-run business and they met the owners, their comfort level increased immensely.
"We were very impressed with Frank and Ann," remarked Kathy. "We felt the y would give us good service but we didn't realize how good the service would be. When we renewed the second year, we got a decrease instead of an increase which surprised us since we had already received a reduction in the first place. This went on for several years."
The Phoenix couple, married over 47 years, has homeowners, auto, umbrella, and business insurance coverage handled by AnCap Insurance. "We're thrilled with AnCap. Their office staff is caring, always helpful and very friendly. They address any questions that we might have."
"A few years ago, Frank called to tell us about a new insurance company that they had personally chosen to go with and would save us over $1,500 a year. He suggested we switch and we took his advice and did. We've been extremely happy with this company and Frank's concern for our needs."
"We recommend AnCap to our friends and business associates because of their honesty and integrity. We can count on AnCap because they are dependable and accessible, and that's important to us!"
