FEATURED CUSTOMER
Barbara Urlaub
When Phoenix native Barbara Urlaub first met Frank Capparelle, Sr. she thought he would be like the stereotypical salesperson hyping a product. Instead, she was pleasantly surprised.
"Since the beginning, his knowledge of the products and his sincerity to help the customer came through," explains Barbara. "I have always felt that he was concerned about me as an individual person. You don't get that with the typical insurance agents who are more focused on the business side."
"Frank knows the insurance business very well," continues Barbara who owns AAA Professional Resume Service. The Phoenix-based business creates documents to help its customers get the jobs they want.
"I've contacted him on numerous occasions. He's a wealth of information and knows how to handle all sorts of situations. He has the knowledge about all types of insurance."
"He has been a key person in helping me make decisions on insurance and he has also saved me money most definitely."
Currently, Barbara has her automobile, homeowners, and health insurance with AnCap Insurance. According to the Phoenix resident, Frank has been more of a friend to her than just an agent by sharing both information and good judgment principals on how to purchase her insurance.
"He is a man of his word....a person to trust and someone to go to for specific advice."
"I trust in his opinions." |

SHAKE, RATTLE AND ROLL... Earthquakes not covered by basic homeowner's insurance When Arizonans felt the effects of the magnitude 7.2 earthquake that hit Baja California, Mexico on Easter Sunday, there were reports of swaying buildings, rattled walls, and sloshing pool waters. but no major damage.
"Historically, the Valley of the Sun has not had any measurable earthquakes since 1875," explains Frank Capparelle, Sr., Founder, President, and CEO of AnCap Insurance. "Flagstaff is built along some fault lines but there has not been any significant activity in the area that caused damage since 1912."
"However, if Arizona would ever feel a quake that moves at a magnitude of 7 or more, who knows how much damage and destruction could occur."
Basic homeowners' insurance policies do NOT cover damage from earthquakes. Thirty-nine states have experienced earthquakes since 1900, and about 90% of Americans live in areas considered seismically active. Yet only a small percentage of people purchase earthquake insurance, which is an addendum to a homeowner's insurance policy.
Even in California, where earthquake fears are a part of daily life, only about ten percent of homeowners have earthquake insurance.
If you decide to buy earthquake insurance, you need to purchase enough to cover the costs of rebuilding your house and replacing broken possessions," continues Frank. "The amount of insurance should be based on replacement and reconstruction costs, NOT the market value of your property and possessions."
"Additionally, you should find out your rights for filing claims. It's important to know how much time you have to file a claim as in some cases, damage from earthquakes is not immediately apparent."

KEEP YOUR INDEPENDENCE AS YOU AGE:
Get Long Term Care Insurance
By the year 2030, one in five Americans will be a "senior citizen" - over the age of 65. If you are a Baby Boomer, born between the years 1946 and 1964, this includes you.
Studies predict that an individual today has a 70% chance of needing long term care (LTC) in their lifetime. Currently, the annual cost to a person needing LTC is about $75,000.
In 2030, that figure will skyrocket to $300,000 annually per person for the 23+ million Americans needing LTC. Will you have that kind of money to spare?
Don't be misled thinking that Medicare, Medicaid, or health insurance will pay for LTC costs! The truth is Medicare has eligibility requirements for skilled nursing care only and is for a limited time period.
Medicaid is a welfare program that will NOT cover long term health care costs for the average individual who has assets of more than $2,000. Health insurance and medical supplements DO NOT cover long term care.
Individuals and families pay for most of long term care costs through their own hard earned cash, savings, and assets. LTC insurance gives people the peace of mind to know they will have both the independence and the ability to pay for home care and assisted living costs. It provides protection from the burdens of care giving and is less expensive in the long-run.
Call Frank, Sr. at 602-943-2586 or email him for more information on what age is the best time for you to buy LTC insurance. |

WATCH CHILDREN AROUND WATER
The 2010 pool season has yet to officially start in Arizona and already three children have drowned in Maricopa County.
Too often, firefighters hear people say, "it was just a few seconds." Unfortunately, just a few seconds is all it takes for a child to drown.
Drowning and near drowning can be prevented, and you can help! Below are some useful tips from the Phoenix Fire Department to prevent these needless tragedies.
* Know where your children are at all times. * Use an approved barrier to separate the pool from the house. * Never allow children to be alone near a pool or any water source. * Have life-saving devices near the pool, such as a hook, or flotation device. * Keep large objects such as tables, chairs, toys, and ladders away from pool fences. * Post the 9-1-1 number on the phone. * Do not allow children to play around the pool and store all toys outside the pool area. * If you leave the pool area, take the kids with you. * Always have a "designated child watcher". |
