FEATURED CUSTOMER
Diane Camenzind
When retired accounts receivable coordinator Diane Camenzind helped out her grandson a few years ago during a truck purchase, little did she know how intertwined the world of insurance, vehicle financing, auto sales, and state regulation actually was.
Four years later, the grandmother of eight can't sing the praises of AnCap Insurance enough for helping her navigate the channels of insurance, red tape, and bureaucracy.
"Frank really saved my buns," says Diane, a resident of northwest Phoenix, who has been a 20 year client of AnCap.
"Between helping my grandson get insurance, and then having to find high-risk coverage because he let it lapse twice, and finally tracking down the right information for the state after we sold the truck, I couldn't have gotten through it all without him," says Diane.
"My driver's license was about to expire and time was running out. Frank wrote a letter and got everything taken care of. He went beyond the call of duty. They don't just sell insurance at AnCap, they help people out."
"Frank is smart, he calls you back when he says he's going to (other people don't do that), and he's as honest as he appears to be," continues Diane. "He doesn't say something just to make a sale. He's been around a long time and knows the right people."
"Frank is more than just an agent, he is my good friend." |

Does Your Auto Liability Coverage Meet 2010 Needs?
Have you checked your auto insurance coverage lately to see what your liability coverage is?
According to AnCap Insurance President Frank Capparelle, Sr., too many people are still maintaining 100/300/50 (dollar) liability limits which were excellent levels back in the 1980's. While rental car companies consider this to be the minimum amount of coverage required, and states have even lower requirements, in today's dollars you are taking considerable risks every time you drive.
"If you were to be involved in an accident involving three or four cars, or if one or two individuals were seriously injured, 100/300/50 liability coverage would probably NOT be sufficient enough to cover the costs of the claims," says Frank.
"Then you would be hit with the bills which could run into the tens or hundreds of thousands of dollars."
To review, $100,000 is the limit per person for bodily injury coverage; $300,000 is the total amount for bodily injury coverage (for everyone); and $50,000 is the coverage for property damage.
"Let's say you have an 'at-fault' accident and someone was hurt badly enough to spend a week in the hospital, and couldn't work for a year or two," continues Frank. "Loss of pay as well as hospital and medical-related expenses could easily exceed $200,000."
"The insurance company would pay the $100,000 as stated in your policy. Then YOU would be responsible for the additional $100,000. Accidents like this can get very expensive and a good lawyer will look for any assets that you have that can be attached, such as your paycheck."
Frank strongly recommends that you consider increasing to higher liability limits of 250/500/100 especially if you have assets that you could lose. "People need to have coverage in today's dollars. Why take the risk and lose sleep over this?"
"Sufficient liability coverage is the most important thing to consider when buying or reviewing your auto insurance. Everything else is just 'window dressing.' Remember, it's what's INSIDE the policy that counts, not just the price on the cover page."
Call us today at 602-943-2586 or click here to send us an email to review what your limits are and/or to inquire about the options for increasing to the new recommended standards of 250/500/100 with a one million dollar umbrella policy attached.
We're open from 9 am through 5 pm Monday through Friday to service your insurance needs. |

Classic Cars Showcase Capparelle Family's Hobby
From the Beach Boys' "Little Deuce Coupe" to the Chevy in Don McLean's "Miss American Pie", American's have such a love affair with cars they sing about them.
Frank Capparelle, Jr. spent a March weekend with his young daughter at the Goodguys' Spring Nationals Car Show in Scottsdale.
"The blue car I am standing by is a 1959 Impala. This car along with the 1959 Cadillac epitomized the big fin era of Detroit. I thought it looked wild."
"The picture with me by the old tow truck is special for kids. It's a replica of the Disney Pixar movie character Tow-Mater. He is not the exact truck, but he is close. My child loved the movie. Tow-Mater is a bit of a star in it."
