New this Fall! Family Place
Starting this September
The Blackstone Library will be hosting a series of informal seminars and workshops for parents of children ages 1-3 presented by area professionals. Sessions will include playtime and will focus on a variety of topics such as developmental milestones, how to choose medical professionals for your child, and more.
Family Place Parent-Child Workshop is a nationally recognized library-led program, where families can meet, chat, share, and play. Toddlers will be able to play with a variety of developmentally appropriate toys in a safe environment with other kids their own age. Caregivers can meet informally with a variety of professionals that can answer any questions. It's not a sit-down lecture--rather, it's an opportunity to chat & learn! Check the Blackstone Library's homepage in the Fall for more information, start dates, and registration information.
