SEMI-PRIVATE TRAINING!
Semi-private training is a cost effective way to reap the benefits of personal training. Designed for groups of three to five people, this training is appropriate for all ages and fitness levels. 
 
 Individual assessments will be taken every 6 weeks. The assessment includes bodyfat analysis, nutritional guidance and an outline for your workouts when not working with a trainer.
 
 All workouts take place in a reserved room that will be closed to other gym members.  Workouts included use of dumbbells, kettlebells, medicine balls and other equipment exclusive to our personal training clients.

METABOLIC TRAINING
 
Metabolic Training is High Intensity Intermittent Training, also known at HIIT.  
 
Traditionally, metabolic work was performed on a separate day as it was a longer period of work.  However, it doesn't have to be long or aerobic in nature.
 
The Tabata Protocol, which is HIIT paired with recovery ( for example: 20 sec/10 sec), showed that a four minute anaerobic workout produced 40 percent better improvement in aerobic capacity as compared to sixty minutes of aerobic work at 70 percent effort. It also improved anaerobic capacity by 28 percent. 
 
Research has shown that 15 weeks of HIIT showed a NINE TIMES greater subcutaneous fat loss than 20 weeks of steady state endurance training.
 
So whether you burn fewer calories or not, HIIT allows for a significantly greater fat loss using HIIT protocols than when using endurance training protocols.
