This week students will learn to identify and describe furniture found in a living room, as well as talk about the activities that family members like to do there. A new dialogue will help students practice this week's vocabulary. They will also illustrate and add details to their own book and practice reading together.

Mamá- ¡Relájense, niños. Les voy a leer un libro.
Ask students what they like to do in the living room.
¿Qué te gusta hacer en la sala?...What do you like to do in the living room.
Me gusta __ mirar la televisíon__... I like to __watch tv___.
Play charades with the activities. Ask your student to guess what you are portraying and then switch roles.
Play "Simón dice" (Simon Says). Tell students to touch an object, Toca __el sofá__...Touch __the sofa__. Don't forget to say "Simón dice"!
