Sombrero Time Children Smiling

Spanish 3

In Spanish 3 we are deconstructing a situational story about two monkeys.  The goal this month is to work on two different stories which are the spring board for two dialogues.  With both of these stories we will be deconstructing the story into characters, setting, problem and solution.  The students will get very familiar with the story line and then taking a day to look at each part of the story.  This next coming week they will learn a dialogue that follows this same story line.  We have embedded new vocabulary that are transition words used in writing.  We will also continue to work on reflexive verbs reírse (to laugh) this week and caerse (to fall) next week.  Toward the end of next week, we will have each of the students in a pair working on the dialogue together and then personalizing and adjusting the dialogue to bring their own personal touch to the story.

I hope you are enjoying the calendar and seeing all the tremendous progress your students have been making this year!
