Greetings Sombrero Time Families!
This week we will be talking about the dining room and place settings. Students will practice setting the table as they learn to use their new target words and thematic vocabulary. A new story, "Wendy la hamburguesa", will help students improve their reading and writing skills.

Use your own table to spark a conversation with your student: When at the dinner table, use the request: Pásame la comida, por favor. . . . Pass me the food, please. Pásame la leche, por favor . . . . Pass me the milk, please.
Ask students to identify an object or food asking: ¿Dónde está _(la servilleta)_?...Where is _(the napkin)_? Students can respond by pointing to the object, or they can answer using a target word. Está _(a la derecha)_...It is _(on the right)_.
