We begin the month of February discussing the people in our families. Your student will draw a family portrait reflecting the family related vocabulary introduced each class day. Students will write about their family and present their portrait to the class. We also learned a dialogue following the pattern of a read aloud book ¿Eres mi mamá? . We learned the dialogue, altered it to incorporate all the people of the family and practiced the question/ answer format below. You can help your student practice at home throughout the course of your normal day by taking a few minutes to look at old photos, naming and describing family members or engaging your student using the dialogue below (or a version of it). I encourage you to change the question to a different family member. Have fun with it!
