In the coming week (January 19-22) we will be talking about the four seasons as we construct a beautiful collage.  Students will practice talking about their favorite season as we create multiple versions of this week's daily dialogue. Our discussions will also include the weather and clothing vocabulary that your student has been building over the last two weeks.

Vocabulary
  1. la estación...season
  2. el invierno...winter
  3. el otoño...autumn
  4. la primavera...spring
  5. el verano...summer
  6. la nieve...snow
  7. la lluvia...rain
  8. las nubes...clouds
  9. el charco...puddle
  10. el sol...sun

These questions might help you start a conversation with your student.  Point to a picture and ask:

¿Qué es esto?...What is this?
¿Cuál es tu estación favorita?...What's your favorite season?
¿Qué tiempo hace en __(el verano)__? ...What's the weather like in __(summer)__?
¿Qué ropa te pones en __(el invierno)__?...What clothes do you wear in __(winter)__?
¿Qué puedes hacer en __(el otoño)__?...What can you do in __(autumn)__?
