Runco Incentive Continues On LS-3 and LS-5 Projectors

Runco has extended the dealer program on the LS-3 and LS-5 projectors. The response to this program has been wonderful and Runco is continuing to partner with their dealers to reach their target customers in the entry levels of projectors. Wizz App is the first Marantz application for an iPhone and/or an iPod Touch. This release allows for basic control of the new Marantz AV Networking Receiver. The beautiful GUI combined with an intuitive layout offers up a simple and convenient way to control Marantz products via your home network.

Wizz App comes preloaded with key functionality such as Main Zone Power On/Off, Volume Up/Down, Mute On/Off, Input selection, Tuner control, Surround modes, Menu control by cursor and Zone 2 basic control. Also available from Wizz App are Playback controls such as File selection, Play, Pause, Stop, etc of music/photo contents stored on a PCs or NAS drives that are connected to your home network.

Basic control of Marantz BD/UD Players and/or SA/CD/CC Players, which are connected to Marantz AV Receivers via the D-Bus(RC-5), is also available - Compatible with models: SR7005, M-CR603, and AV7005

Genelec makes two 6.5" woofers Rock

Genelec 5041A Active In-Wall Subwoofer

The Genelec 5041A is a dedicated Active In-Wall subwoofer designed to complement Genelec AIW25 Active In-Wall and Genelec AIC25 Active In-Ceiling loudspeakers. When the 5041A is installed, all that can be seen of it is a discreet small metal grille on the wall, but its powerful and dynamic bass response will leave no doubt about the presence of a high quality subwoofer. The 5041A extends the system's bass response down to 35 Hz with an upper cut-off frequency of 95 Hz.

The 5041A features two 6.5" loudspeaker drivers in a very slim 3 1/4" stud depth MDF enclosure and a separate 4U RAM3 amplifier unit that can be installed in an equipment rack using the optional RM2 Rack Mount Kit. The RAM3 shares the same dimensions as the RAM2 amplifier that powers the AIW25 and AIC25 models so one RM2 can take up to eight of these amplifiers.

The 5041A subwoofer enclosure mounting system uses adjustable brackets and rubber springs to isolate the enclosure from the wall structure. Thanks to this flexible mounting, no vibration is transmitted to the sheetrock or other parts of the wall even at high playback levels.

A stealthy combination of one 5041A and five AIW25's can create a wonderfully dynamic and detailed soundstage for small listening rooms.

This Multi Format Imager Fixed frame masking system features variable horizontal masking.

With the masking retracted, the screen is Cinemascope (2.35:1) aspect ratio. With masking, you can achieve Letterbox (1.85:1), HDTV (1.78:1) and NTSC Video (1.33:1) formats.

The Multi Format Imager System can be installed over Da-Lite's Cinema Contour, Imager, Da-Snap or Perm-Wall fixed frame screen, rear projection screens or over any other permanently wall mounted screen.

The right and left masks can be adjusted together or independently to change the factory preset stops or to create custom aspect ratios.

Frame standard with Pro-Trim finish. Pro-Trim is a fabric frame covering that aesthetically enhances the appearance of the installation while absorbing light that surrounds the viewing area.
