Quill Extend Spindle 2-in-1 SPINDLE PROVIDES NEAT SOLUTION 
Jena Tec provides a neat solution to the problem of roughing and grinding with the same spindle by offering its quill extend spindle. A directly motorised unit providing 7.5kW of power at speeds up to 4000RPM allows customers to save space on their machine design by roughing with the outer spindle and then providing an actuated internal quill to move forward by up to 1" (25mm) for finishing cuts. With servo control providing  accurate depth positioning this unique offering by Jena Tec provides space saving in machine design while reducing the machine tool builders cost and improving the end users productivity. Jena Tec provide a complete design and manufacture service for special purpose spindles according to customer requirements from prototype through to full production volumes.
