Holiday Stress??!!!
How to Cope

Suggestions for Reducing Stress Through Relaxation Techniques

1. Take a walk in a pleasant place

2. Read a book you have wanted to read. Go to the library and find new books to read.

3. Take a relaxing bubble bath or therapy bath.

4. Consider getting a pet. It can provide companion and affection through difficult times. The S.P.C.A. and some veterinarians can be helpful in suggesting which is most appropriate for you.

5. Learn relaxation techniques such as deep breathing, meditation and creative imaging.

6. A sense of humor will smooth out a bumpy road.

7. Learn the art of gentleness. It is also relaxing and will open many doors for you.
