Advocates International wishes you a happy In"dependence" Day
Tomorrow marks the 236th year since the United States of America declared its independence from England in 1776. For those in the USA who are celebrating our nation's birthday, we must not forget those who live in countries that do not allow religious freedom or freedom of speech, that cornerstones of our independence. As we've noted before, almost 3 in 4 people around the glove live in countries that have high or very high restrictions on religious freedom. Pray with us for those who live under the threat of persecution but especially for our advocates who are daily waging the legal battles to help level the playing field for religious freedom.
Most importantly, let us be mindful that while we may live in a country that has great freedoms, as children of the Living God, we should live each day of our lives in dependence upon Him. After all, "apart from Him, we can do nothing," but "we can do all things through Christ who gives us strength."
Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support for the work of Advocates.
May the Lord bless you with His perfect . . .
Grace and peace,
President & CEO
