Advocates International to partner with anti-corruption campaign - EXPOSED: Shining a Light on Corruption
 Dear Friends,
We are pleased to announce that Advocates International will be one of the leading partners in the anti-corruption campaign: EXPOSED, Shining a Light on Corruption. Christians around the world raising their voices in a united response against corruption and poverty.
Latchezar Popov, Co-Chairman of the Global Task Force on the Rule of Law & Integrity, is particularly impressed to remind us that we should not be ashamed to boldly proclaim all that is right in the name of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ.
The focus of the campaign will culminate 14-20 October 2013 with the mobilization of 100 million persons during a global week of prayer, witness, advocacy and action against corruption and poverty.
We invite you to join with us to pray for the campaign and the spiritual battles against corruption. We also encourage you to visit the EXPOSED 2013 website to sign up for the prayer updates and newsletter. It only takes a minute.
As we move forward with our efforts against corruption, we will be inviting further participation at the grass roots and national level, so keep an eye out for future communications from us. Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support for the work of Advocates. May the Lord bless you with His perfect . . . Grace and peace,
Brent McBurney President & CEO Advocates International

Report from Egyptian Christian Lawyers Conference
Thank you for your continued prayers for our brothers and sisters around the globe. Here is a report from this month's Christian Lawyers conference in Egypt.
Dear brothers and sisters in Christ
Peace and Grace in the name of Jesus.
I am happy to inform you that the first Christian lawyers conference for human rights was held last week in Alexandria,Egypt with about 60 participants-mostly lawyers.
Brother Emad Felix ,who a lot of you surely remember from AI conferences in the past, organized the conference in an excellent way. Me,brother Haytham Erefig from Jordan as well as an American lawyer called Emily Cao from Washington DC were the only non-Egyptians there. The three of us as well as brother Emad shared in different sessions about religious freedom and UN conventions.

As you may know-Egypt is passing through a sensitive time. The Christian minority in Egypt are concerned after the rise of the Muslim Fundamental groups in the post Mubarak era. They will be having elections for President next week. The Evangelical council of churches in Egypt endorsed the new group of Advocates Egypt and its president addressed the participants in the conference. I praise the Lord for the time we had there with the Egyptian lawyers. They seem to be encouraged and determined to move forward as a group. Please pray for our brothers and sisters in Egypt. Blessings Botrus Mansour |

Thank You for Your Financial Support

AI is not a recipient of government funding and is solely dependent upon the financial contributions of those who believe in its mission, thereby enabling it to serve "clients" ranging from heads of state seeking to implement constitutional reforms to persecuted and imprisoned believers sentenced to death for their faith. We are most grateful and thank you for whatever financial support or voluntary service you can provide in support of AI's mission. Here's how you can help: (more)
