World Prayer Assembly
Final Update

Dear Friends

Thank you so much for joining with us in prayer, especially over the past week during which the AI Global Task Force for Prayer Leadership team has been in Sentul City, Indonesia for the World Prayer Assembly.

One of the most encouraging outcomes of our time at these meetings has been the opportunity for us remind our brothers and sisters who lead various global prayer ministries of the importance of praying with us for lawyers and advocates who are engaged in the various battles for our culture and for the Body of Christ.  The greatest sense of the Lord's calling to arise from the WPA has been the movement of the Church in prayer on the mountaintop into the marketplace, and Advocates International and advocates around the globe are a crucial part of that.

The highlight of our time here, however was on Wednesday, when

Mark Mudri, Gregory Vijayendran and I had the joy of meeting with a delightful young

Indonesian Christian lawyer named Tony Budidjaja in a two hour meeting in his downtown Jakarta office. Tony shared with us his heart for the legal profession in Indonesia and his personal desire to establish integrity and honesty as the hallmark of the his own practice as well as throughout the bar.  We prayed for Tony and encouraged him to step into a leadership role and begin to bring together Christian lawyers in Indonesia.  The names of the three conference rooms in Tony's law office are Excellence, Integrity and Honesty.

On Thursday, we joined with 110,000+ (including over 20,000 children intercessors) at Jakarta's Gelora Bung Karno stadium for prayer and worship. The evening's event was simulcast to similar gatherings in 373 cities in Indonesia and around the globe and it is estimated that over 3 million believers in Indonesia alone were gathered to pray for the world. What a blessed time to worship together with so many in one place.

Today I will be meeting with Christian lawyers and judges in Kuala Lumpur Malaysia and on Monday will be speaking to the Lawyers Christian Fellowship of Singapore. Please pray that I will be able to bring words of encouragement and blessing to these brothers and sisters here in Asia.

We are so pleased that you joined with us, through your prayers in all parts of the globe.

May the Lord bless and keep you in His perfect. . .

Grace and Peace,

Brent Sig
