Please Pray for 3 Key Events this week for Advocates International

Dear Friends,

We are so very grateful for your prayers and would like to let you know of three key events that Advocates will be involved in this week.

First, please pray for Advocates Board member Roger Sherrard as he travels for the 44th time to Tirana, Albania for a very important series of meetings for the judiciary.  Roger and another colleague will be traveling on May 10 to Albania and will be playing a critical role in meetings to be held May 12-16.   Please pray for safe travel, good health and that the Lord will give the right words at the right time for each participant who will be involved.  It is such a blessing to know that God continues to use AI as servants for Albania and all of Eastern Europe.

Second, please pray for Emad Felix Moubarak and his colleagues in Egypt as they gather together for a Christian Lawyers conference from May 9-12.  This is such a critical time in Egypt, and we need to continue to lift up Christians there who will play key roles in the future of this key nation.  Amongst the speakers who will be traveling to Egypt to encourage our brothers and sisters there are advocates from Lebanon, Jordan and Israel.  Please pray for the Lord's provision for this conference, safe travels and that all who attend will be greatly encouraged of God.

Third, please pray for the Lord's guidance for Gregory Vijayendran (Singapore), Mark Mudri (Australia), and myself, as we serve as facilitators at the World Prayer Assembly for a special "Law and Justice Track" during this global event.  The World Prayer Assembly will take place in Jakarta, Indonesia from May 14-18.  We covet your prayer cover for this important gathering amongst the Body of Christ because Satan is particularly hateful of justice which is the key hallmark of the Kingdom to come (See Isaiah 9:7).

Thank you so much for your continued prayers and financial support for the work of Advocates, but especially over the next few weeks with these key events.

May the Lord bless you with His perfect . . .

Grace and peace,

Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani's attorney sentenced to 9 years
in jail

Just last week, word came out of Iran that Mohammad Ali Dadkhah, the Muslim lawyer representing Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani, was reportedly sentenced to nine years in jail for alleged acts violating national security and spreading propaganda against the regime.  Read more

We want to encourage those of you who Tweet to advocate on behalf of Pastor Youcef Nadarkhani and other Christians in Iran who have been arrested for their faith in Jesus.  The twitter address of Ayatollah Ali Khamenei is @khamenei_ir.  Let the Iranian rulers know that the rest of the world cares about freedom of religion.

Thank You for Your Financial Support

AI is not a recipient of government funding and is solely dependent upon the financial contributions of those who believe in its mission, thereby enabling it to serve "clients" ranging from heads of state seeking to implement constitutional reforms to persecuted and imprisoned believers sentenced to death for their faith. We are most grateful and thank you for whatever financial support or voluntary service you can provide in support of AI's mission. Here's how you can help: (more)
