No natural gardening program is complete without composting! Nature renews soil and its nutrients by recycling plant material back into the soil as humus or compost. Learn how to take your kitchen or garden leftovers and turn them into black gold. (Includes a segment on vermicomposting.)  This course is in partnership with LaGuardia Community College and will be led by Dan Tainow and Julia Corwin from the NYC Compost Project in Queens.
