That's what was happening at Sparkle Hand Car Wash & Detailing. Helping their customers get clean cars involves many different cleaning options. Do you have the engine shampooed? Do you have the paint cut-polished? According to Sparkle's new owner Daniel Dinardo, "It can be very confusing!" Before he took over the business in the summer of 2011, he had been a customer of Sparkle. The menu of services was very long and hard to understand. The previous owner had used some very large signs in the parking lot to try to make it simpler for customers. Besides the fact that the old-style wood and paint signs were peeling and dilapidated, their design originally had not been well thought-out.
