Signarama Richmond Nominated for Richmond Chamber of Commerce
Business Excellence Award
Signarama Richmond has much to celebrate - two years in
business, a local award nomination, and being recognized as a leader amongst
Signarama locations.
As one franchise out of over 900 locations world-wide, the Richmond location has
distinguished itself as the second fastest growing location in the entire
world! In the short two years that Signarama Richmond has been in operation,
sales records have been continuously broken and growth has been strong, this
despite the current economic situation.
Owner David
Newman has brought much focus and determination to making his
venture succeed. "The secret to the sign business is this: It's really about
helping our customers be more successful in their businesses, and servicing
them like no other."
Recently, Signarama Richmond was nominated for the Richmond
Chamber of Commerce Business Excellence Awards. Barry Milner, Marketing
Director at GeoTility Systems Corporation nominated Signarama saying they "... not
only went the extra step in the creativity of design and quality of the
products we purchased, but Signarama's prices were better than 90% of the
competition."
In a time when companies are downsizing, David Newman has more than doubled his staff in the
past two years. His team employs professional designers, fabricators,
installers, project managers, and consultants. "The only way we continue to
deliver high quality products to our customers is by hiring talented, dedicated
staff and then focusing on excellence," says Newman.
Signarama Richmond cut it's teeth on a wide range of signage
projects ranging from simple full-colour event banners to large
engineer-certified illuminated channel letters. Their growing customer list includes BC Liquor
Distribution, Everything For A Dollar Store, Astral Media Radio, Sheraton
Hotels, Holiday Inn Express, and most recently, Birks & Mayors Jewelers.
