Desiccant Versus Refrigerated Air Dryers
| |
|
Correct dryer selection is crucial to an efficient compressed air system. Refrigerated dryers are the most efficient choice if pressure dew points (the temperature at which water forms) of +39° F to +50°F are acceptable. Desiccant dryers have substantially higher operating costs and should only be selected if pressure dew points below freezing and ultra-dry air are needed. Read More. |
