There are two very important phrases that describe data center construction:
- complex infrastructure, and
- systems reliability & redundancy.
Ondra-Huyett recently completed construction of the 30,000 sq. ft. highly available, mission critical data center for DBSi. This was the third and most complex data center project OHA had built for DBSi over the past 12 years.
DBSI was very happy with the construction and upon completion of the project said the following:
- Ondra-Huyett converted an existing building to a world class "green" data center,
- construction included upgrading existing infrastructure and installing new electrical and cooling systems that would provide less than 4 minutes of unplanned downtime per year,
- we compressed the schedule from 14 months to 5 months,
- construction was underway while DBSi was still designing the electrical, cooling and monitoring infrastructure -- right up to the "go live" date,

- the aggressive schedule was managed by coordinating as many as 120 tradesman across multiple disciplines working 24 x 7 in very concentrated areas,
- OHA effectively worked with the township's inspectors to achieve the "go-live" deadline,
- the project came in within budget, an "amazing accomplishment"
" OHA has again proven their value with this recent project. It was the most complex and aggressive. OHA's efforts were nothing short of outstanding."
