Greetings!
Mutual Abundance Media and Sunray Meditation Society cordially invite you to join us on June 14, 2012 for the Boston area premiere of "Peace Village," an award-winning documentary that conveys the spirit of teachings that indigenous Elders from throughout the Americas have offered at the annual Elders Gathering at the Sunray Peace Village in Lincoln, Vermont. For several Elders, this is the first time they have allowed themselves or their teachings to be filmed. The event is a fundraiser for the 2012 Elders Gathering, which will be held July 27-July 31, 2012 at the Peace Village. Mutual Abundance Media, who created the film, is offering 100% of the proceeds of this event to benefit the Elders Gathering this year. Registration for the film is $25 in advance, or $30 at the door. Space is limited, so please register early. Doors open at 6:15 pm, with opening remarks at 7 pm by Algonquin Elder Mike Bastine (pictured in the left panel above), and Tslagi/Cherokee Elder Grandfather Warren Redwing Ramey (pictured in the center panel). The film will begin at 7:30 pm, and will be followed by a Q&A period. An excerpt of the film can be seen here. Many thanks to the West Newton Cinema for graciously allowing us to host this special premiere. Please click on the link below to register or RSVP. |
