Glass class

Welcome! What have you tried lately that's hard or new? For me, it was taking a week-long flame-working class at the Corning Museum of Glass.

While I had thought I was pretty good at crafts, this class offered all sorts of new challenges. But I practiced and persisted. And am super proud of my first attempt with boro glass. As you can see, it's somewhat misshapen and lopsided. But I did it!

As with health literacy, it can be hard to master a skill that's challenging or new. Thanks for persisting. Here's what's new in Health Literacy Consulting

Producer, Polisher, Policy Maker: Which "Hat" Do You Wear?

Each of us can help improve health understanding no matter where we work or what we do. When leading health literacy/plain language workshops, I often ask participants which communication "hat" or "hats" they wear.

This month's How-to Tip includes ways that all of us--as producers, polishers, or policy makers--can help.
