I'm amazed at how many new health literacy "folks" there are. Thanks for your interest, passion, and commitment. As requested, here's what's new in Health Literacy Consulting. P.S. How do you like the new graphics (below)?

Checklists for Complex Tasks. This month's Health Literacy How-To Tip builds upon the work of one of my heroes, Atul Gawande MD. He's an accomplished surgeon, big-picture thinking, and wonderful writer.
The Checklist Manifesto is Gawande's latest book. He writes about how the "lowly" checklist has helped to improve safety and reduce error in other industries. He advocates their use in healthcare too. This month's How-To Tip includes my version of his recommendations.
