Affiliates Management Company (AMC), Coopera's parent company, announced Miriam De Dios as Coopera's new chief executive officer on May 2.

Miriam has been with Coopera since its inception and most recently served as vice president.

Since helping launch Coopera alongside Warren Morrow, the late founder of the company, Miriam has overseen the company's client operations, managed the innovation of Coopera products and led the company's marketing and
public relations efforts. She has become a thought leader in the credit union movement, speaking across the country on the importance of outreach to underserved Hispanics.

A native of Jalisco, Mexico, De Dios has significant experience in the financial services arena, having worked with State Farm Insurance Companies and John Deere Credit prior to Coopera.

Witnessing her own parents' struggles to navigate the U.S. financial system, she is passionate about furthering Coopera's mission of connecting more Hispanics - both immigrant and U.S. born - with the financial mainstream. Credit unions, she believes, are the answer. Click here for the full release.
