With current oil prices surpassing $4/gallon, the heating expenses for a cape cod can be a real affliction for its homeowner. One of the biggest issues in cape cod houses are the kneewalls. These walls found in the upper level of the house, are 2 to 4 feet tall and have an attic cavity behind them. The kneewalls are commonly the source of heavy air leakage, allowing conditioned air to escape into the attic.
