- Connect with and observe new, especially recent college graduates, who join your company. (New graduates have learned the new developments. New hires may have used the new tools and techniques at their former company.)
- Join a professional organization in your field. (You may feel that you are too busy, but the time investment could generate excellent returns for you.)
These actions can prevent you from becoming a Lotus 1-2-3 of 1984 in a 2010 marketplace.
