 We hope you all had a safe and happy Halloween! The holidays are just around the corner and for many of you this means you'll be visiting family and friends out of town.
November and December can be the busiest time of year for us here at TOP DOG so if you haven't let us know about your travel dates already, please feel free to log into your account or give us a call ASAP so we can get you and your critters on our schedule for visits!

Looking for a Good Read This Fall?
As the weather begins to cool down, it's always nice to curl up in a chair with your favorite critters to read a good book. We thought you'd enjoy hearing about a a couple of popular choices available at your local book store or online:
 by Patricia B. McConnell. In this book, behaviorist and zoologist McConnell discusses fear, anger, surprise, sadness and love in dogs and in people. She suggests that the reason we love dogs so much is that they express emotions in ways similar to humans. McConnell teaches both beginning dog owners and experienced dog lovers how to read the more subtle expressions hidden behind those furry bodies!
 by Temple Grandin and Catherine Johnson. In this book, Temple Grandin, who draws upon her personal experiences with autism and her career as an animal scientist, delivers an extraordinary message about how animals act, think and feel. If you've read her other books on animals you won't want to miss Animals in Translation.

The 10! Show is the ONLY local lifestyle/entertainment show in the Delaware Valley. But it doesn't operate like any local show. Philadelphia is the 4th largest market in the country so you never know who is going to stop by The 10! Show studio.
