In December, 2009 Blue Cod teamed up with New Mexico Property Insurance Program (NMPIP) and implemented Blue Cod's hosted policy processing solution. According to Terrie Dunlap, NMPIP Plan Supervisor, the process could not have gone any smoother. "I cannot praise the people of Blue Cod enough," said Ms. Dunlap. "Blue Cod clearly understands that they work for us and are very responsive. Codference 2010 a Success!
The Blue Cod Third Annual Codference continues to follow in the tradition of being a great customer and Codder experience. Held in Worcester this year, the Codference brought in more customers than previous years to hear about Blue Cod's latest and greatest.

"I found the Codference an invaluable opportunity to put faces to names, an important aspect to forging and solidifying relationships," said Justin Silver, Director of Business Development at ASD, Blue Cod's newest business partner. "Overall I thought the conference provided well organized content in the sessions. I was impressed by the level of attendance - at a time where companies have strong holds on expenses. It was refreshing to see that many companies send multiple representatives."

| CAT Drill |
It's that time of year again...when Blue Cod begins to gear up for hurricane season. On Wednesday, June 9th, the Blue Cod Catastrophe (CAT) Team's dedicated phone line received over 100 claims within an hour as part of our June, 2010 CAT drill. This is 30 more claims than taken last year with different scenarios and tougher criteria for CAT Team members to handle. The drill was also more of a challenge because of a higher than normal volume of calls that came in to the Blue Cod Customer Service Center. | A Closer Look |
In May Blue Cod welcomed Marshall Katz, MS, CIC, LUTC, LIA, Education Trainer & Consultant, to our BPO Service Center in Marlborough, Massachusetts as part of Blue Cod's efforts to provide advanced insurance training programs. Mr. Katz represents the Massachusetts Association of Insurance Agents (MAIA). The program, called Seven Steps to Personal Lines Success, focuses on our BPO employees who are licensed agents and want to receive continuing education credits. The course covered the Homeowners line of business.
