The HomeWise Agency project went into User Acceptance Testing (UAT) last Friday thanks to sizable team effort. For those not aware of the project, it was a joint development effort between the Consulting and the Gatewise teams to develop an agency management system for HomeWise. Gatewise Logo

HomeWise has requested that we transition them off their current system to our new system by December 31st. The project had numerous obstacles to overcome from the get go, particularly the very aggressive deadline. Other challenges included identifying engineering resources to develop the features, coordinating the development such that it had minimal impact on the other Gatewise imperatives, finding and configuring hardware environments for Development, Quality Assuarance and UAT and a user interface codebase that needed some attention before building a new batch of features into it. On all fronts the project was an ambitious one that had many of us wondering whether it was even feasible.
