Fall is here, and with it comes a harvest of exciting new books.  Instead of raking those leaves, come join us for some fun-filled events featuring creators of several of these new titles.

TRACY BARRETT

Come and meet Tracy Barrett, the author of several historical novels, as well as the Sherlock Files series.  She will be signing copies of her new novel, King of Ithaka, a re-imagining of The Odyssey as told by Telemachos, the son of Odysseus.  Fans of Greek mythology are sure to be intrigued by this new take on an old tale.

We're thrilled to welcome award-winning author Laurie Halse Anderson on the publication of her new novel Forge.  In this compelling sequel to Chains, Isabel and Curzon are forced to find their own way through a world of obstacles in the midst of the American Revolution.  Ms. Anderson, author of such acclaimed novels as Speak and Fever 1793, will discuss her work and sign copies for her fans.

HALLOWEEN FUN WITH SCOTT MAGOON

Put on your best Halloween costume and come on in for a Mostly Monsterly celebration!   Illustrator Scott Magoon will be here to read and sign this new Halloween classic, as well as awarding the prize for best costume.  We'll be handing out pre-Halloween treats, and reading some of our other favorite scary tales.  Join us if you dare...
