Small Scale Work for a Larger Cause

First Fri. Public Preview

SAY Sí, 1518 S. Alamo
SAY Sí invites you to a preview of its 13th Annual Small Scale Work for a Larger Cause featuring over 200 small-scale artworks by San Antonio's premier visual artists. The exhibit runs the entire of month of February and culminates with a Silent Auction and an Un-Silent Party (advance tickets $40) on February 26.

Application Deadlines
The Fair is looking for entertaining performers, delicious food, fun parade entries, and engaging kid's activities! Applications for the Fair are available online at kwfair.org. The application deadlines are:
  • Parade - February 24
  • Entertainment - February 25
  • Food - March 3
  • Kids Kingdom - April 10
  • Art & Craft - applications closed
Free Art & Craft Vendor Co-op Space
Are you a King William or Lavaca neighborhood artisan who would like an opportunity to sell your art work/craft at the King William Fair? We are offering a FREE Art & Craft Vendor co-op space at the Fair to neighborhood artisans who are KWA members (individual KWA membership is just $10 a year). Applications are now available at the King William Fair office. Deadline to apply is March 12. Contact Kate Ruckman, Art & Craft Manager, at kruckman@satx.rr.com or the Fair office at 271-FAIR for more information.

Mission Reach Phase 2a Groundbreaking
Saturday, February 13, 11 am
Banks of the San Antonio River

Concepción Park, 600 E. Theo Ave.
Please join the San Antonio River Authority as construction begins on the next section of the Mission Reach Ecosystem Restoration & Recreation Project. This project is transforming an eight mile stretch of the San Antonio River into a quality riparian woodland ecosystem. A falconry presentation will be by John Cargher of Last Chance Forever Bird of Prey Conservancy. Refreshments will be served.
Bridge Players Wanted

McNay Docents Wanted
The McNay Art Museum's Docent Council is accepting a docent class for 2010-2011. As volunteers of the McNay Art Museum, docents provide opportunities for the public to enjoy and find meaning in works of art through tours of the McNay collection and exhibitions.
