King William Public Art Committee
The purpose of having this committee is to further the beauty of the King William community by emphasizing public art in our neighborhood. More public art will create a more pleasing neighborhood environment, will create positive experiences for tourists visiting our area, and will also create a positive attraction for businesses in the area. The public art process and installation of artwork can begin after the allocation of funds. Visual arts would include: murals, photomurals, sculpture. It excludes exteriors/interiors of private residences. There will be a King William Public Art Committee to review proposed projects, and to help with the art/artist project selection. Applications will be submitted to this committee. Any questions, comments can be addressed to: Molly Shafer, King William Board member, 223-6831 or e-mail: mssmith@satx.rr.com.
