Photo by Scott CollierThe red ball of sun rising over the sea is once again heralding the start of morning runs across the downs - our planet is on its never ending journey around the sun and now we have just moved through the equinox. At this point there is a sense of new beginnings: the warmth starting to seep in, the buds opening, rebirth, longer days, more light.

I have circled a whole year, running side by side with Fiona, who has recently been appointed as editor of Running Free magazine. The name reflects our life philosophy and how we embrace our running journey. We are all co-creators of our own future and the future of our planet.

We create our lives in the spaces between us, creating our futures in the moment and inspiring or limiting ourselves and each other through our words and action - quite a responsibility!

Chris is taking a journey - and a running journey at that! - across a foreign land because a child has asked him to and in that moment, a conversation in a street in Theka, his life took off in a new direction almost without him having any say. His journey across Kenya ignited by the wishes of a street child has the potential to make positive changes to so many other lives.

We must notice what we say, because we are creating our future in every word we utter, our interactions together have the power to heal. This is apparent within the articles written here. The energy is one of love and commitment to self - taking notice and being in a state of inquiry and openness to movement and change.

The whole of the universe is in constant motion and the only still point is your true self at the core of your being. Life is ever-changing and it is our tendency to create continual change to challenges our self to stretch and to grow and to experience the limitless and boundless possibility that lies within each one of us.

All of the people who write here are sharing themselves and their unique experiences and journeys that have brought them understanding and a deeper sense of commitment to themselves and others. It is in the sharing of our stories and our experiences that we come to understand one another and learn and develop through this sharing.

The first step of service to others is to clear yourself and take care of yourself, as this allows you to be part of healing the dualistic split in the world - it is by healing and holding this duality within ourselves that we are better able to be of genuine use in the world - and of course to experience genuine joy and have the fun that is our birthright.

And - after many months of 'talking about it', Jane and I are attending Mark's wonderful yoga class in Forest Row! We created this in dialogue -  a decision to go at our own pace - to have supper in the wine bar afterwards! This is working well, already our bodies are opening and responding to the stretch and the wine bar staff are counting us as Monday night regulars! And we are having fun!

Have a wonderful month

With love,

Julia
