Retail Realm in December will start a re-write of all its add-ons for compatibiity with RMS POS2009.  We also plan to continue to do advanced developments for RMS 1.3 - 2.0.  The Multi Store users that have a long term investment in the current RMS solution will be protected in their Retail Realm investment.

Retail Realm has an advanced Touch User Interface for RMS.  This interface allows you to add color and picture to buttons as well as arrange configurable work flow to find items.  The RR Touch offers a touch grid where on the left you can group what you want to view on the right.  This can be Static definition of what is to be seen, or a filter )for example all items from supplier Fabrikam), or a drill down.  The Drill down can be as simple as a series of pre-defined queries that we provide you for Dept to Category, to Items or showing top 30 most popular items.  Some customers for example have designed touch buttons that will show items price grouping (items from $1 - $20, Items $21 - $50, etc...).  All of the resulting display is configurable.

 

With RR Touch at the POS you have access to all POS functions and command in a full touch environment.  Where a keyboard and or number pad is required this will show automatically.
