Aim For Success is all about helping young people avoid risky behaviors that can destroy their dreams and goals. Over the past 18 years, we've gained national recognition for our sexual abstinence programs. Now we're receiving rave reviews for our new anti-bullying program, Empowered to Defend. In this issue of Tips we're going to share what bullying looks like in today's schools, what others are saying about the program, as well as an actual preview of Empowered to Defend.

 BULLYING: ANGER

OUT of CONTROL

Written by Marilyn Morris, Founder/President

If you ask adults to describe what bullying was like when they were kids, they often describe something reminiscent of the café scene of Biff and George McFly in Back to the Future. One couldn't help but feel sorry for the shy, nerdy George McFly as Biff totally and completely humiliated him in front of everyone in the diner.

But if that's what you think bullying is like today - then think again. Robin Halvorson, speaker at Aim For Success, shares an incident she recently witnessed while visiting a high school campus.

As school budgets continue to shrink and funding for abstinence programs disappears, Aim For Success is fighting hard to make every penny count. While we do charge for our programs, we are frequently asked to give discounts to our customers in need. We are able to discount programs on occasion because of the generous donations from those of you who support us. If you would like to contribute to help a specific school please contact our office at 972-422-2322 or email Windi Fuller at wfuller@aimforsuccess.org.
